I am so pleased to report that my new T6i works fine with the EOS software (EOS Digital ver 30.4) and my Windows 10 operating system. There were zero issues installing it and using it with no adjustments to my computer. There are great new features on the install disk. I'm a happy camper! I'm not a professional but I did some research on a great memory card for the T6i and would highly recommend this: Transcend 128GB SDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Flash Memory Card Up to 90MB/s (TS128GSDXC10U1) It's well worth a couple extra bucks ($52.99 on Amazon). It was hard to believe how fast my pictures downloaded to my computer. Thanks for the help in here.I've got to go take some more pictures!

My new T6i worked ONE time with EOS installed on Windows 10 and never again after. I take pictures and don't send them out for weeks because it's so time-consuming to transfer them to my phone using T6i's wi-fi then transferrign to the cloud then downloading them from the cloud. I can't believe this situation exists. Has anyone overcome the problem besides the suggestions here? I even tried to go back to Windows 8 but can't. Why on Earth don't you just buy a card reader?

They're cheap and reliable and would let you circumvent all of that ludicrously complex workflow. Many of us run all of the Canon software, including EOS Utility, on Windows 10 with no problems. But if, for whatever reason, it doesn't work for you and you can't fix it, a card reader is the obvilus solution. Dunnd40 wrote: I tried your suggestion and nothing. What a bummer. A high percentage of problems that people have using Wi-Fi can be traced to the lack of understanding how it works, the camera's limitations, and how to set it all up.
If it worked once, then it ain't broken. I do not know in what manner that 'it worked' for you, but I think your concept of 'how it should work' just may be off the mark. The following text is from a product description of the T6i.

'Built-In Wi-Fi Connectivity with NFCWirelessly transfer images and videos with the built-in Wi-Fi connectivity of the T6i. When used with the Camera Connect mobile app users will be able to quickly and effectively upload files directly to social networking sites. Also, with NFC the camera can be paired to compatible mobile devices quickly, as well as to the CS100 Connect Station.' It seems to only describe connectivity with 'mobile devices.' Many people are confused by the term 'Wi-Fi'. I was once confused, too. People hear 'Wi-Fi' and think 'networkable', which isn't the case for many Canon DSLRs.
